Meet Dr. Kudrna
Dr. Landon Kudrna [kuh-DER-nah] was born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota, and developed a passion for eye care at a very young age, consistently lending a helping hand at his mother’s optometric practice growing up. He performs comprehensive vision exams for our patients and uses his talents to precisely diagnose and treat a wide array of ocular diseases, infections, and more. His specialty is in pre-and post-operative refractive surgeries.
Education and Training
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences at the University of North Dakota. Throughout his four years of undergraduate education, Dr. Kudrna worked with visually impaired children at the North Dakota Vision Services/School for the Blind. He led organizations, such as the Pre-Optometry Group, the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, and MEDLIFE, where he led a medical mission trip to Lima, Peru. Additionally, he became especially interested in primary care optometry, specialty contact lens fittings, and refractive/post-surgical care while on external rotations while attending Pacific University College of Optometry.
Dr. Kudrna joined Chu Vision Institute in 2021.
